“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”
–William Shakespeare
Rosa Lee’s favorite flower was, of course, the rose.
A beautiful rose garden was maintained by Hal and Rosa Lee for all the years they lived in their Fountain Valley home. After Hal passed away, one of Rosa Lee’s caregiver, Daisy, and her husband Mark, took over the responsibility of maintaining the rose garden. For so many years we all enjoyed the beauty of the roses and Janet would often take photos of the roses to share with Rosa Lee when she could no longer leave her room and see the garden herself. Her caregivers would pick the roses and place them in a vase for Rosa Lee to enjoy.
Enjoy the beauty of Rosa Lee’s roses — along with other roses that were part of her life, and the loveliness and significance of the rose.
