We celebrated Rosa Lee’s 70th birthday at Mimi’s Cafe, one of Rosa Lee’s favorite restaurants and fun places to meet up with her friends and family. You will see in the photo above that Rosa Lee’s protégés are performing “You Must Pay the Rent.”

This was an exceptionally difficult birthday because her beloved husband, Hal, passed away just a few months earlier.

Each guest was given a page to write their thoughts about Rosa Lee and these were compiled into a notebook for her to read and re-read over the years.
